Exam- which will include a big question on exporting You should use the
time in the online class to research a company which you could know well
for a question on exporting - see further explanation at
www.witiger.com/universityoftoronto/MGTC44/MGTC44examprep.htm . You may want to look, in advance, at the unit onnsources of info which is used to show you how to get information for international business. We call it an online class because most of the information you seek will be online so it makes sense to give you some time to do this by taking out one of our attended classes and giving you time for the research (you're welcome). If you have any doubts about your selection of a particular company as me in person before or after the next class Nov 14th You are stronly enouraged to thoroughly read the section on Ethics As you know the mid-term DID NOT include material from Alan Bell's speech - there was not "space" for that. There may be some simple questions on the final covering that topic in the context of the company you study for exporting. I will be away from the university Nov 3 - Nov 10 and unable to read email in that time. Good Luck

| For the final and the mid-term exam, you would be advised to read the newspapers on a regular basis, check the site http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/ using canadaexport and newspapers you should research the intl export/import activities of a medium/larged sized Canadian company so that you might be able to answer a long exam question. Remember there is no text for the course, so in lieu of reading the text, the equivalent time should be spend reading the newspapers and the recommended websites. |
