You are going to establish a service/retail/hospitality business in a community in Canada that has a population of 300,000 to 750,000.

For this assignment you need to do the following:

• Prepare a brief statement about the business, including the location – City and location within the city, business type and style, and the intended clients, gender, age, etc.

• Research to determine the following for the community where you are establishing the business

a. The # of potential customers that are a fit within your age parameters.
b. The annual income for the defined group
c. The annual household income for the defined group
d. The ethnic origins of the defined group
e. The unemployment rate for the community
f. The average annual income for the community
g. An other information that you feel may be important in making this decision to invest you resources

All sources of research must be cited at the end of the assignment and if you deem necessary printed and attached to the assignment.

Your assignment is to have a cover page that includes your name, section # , and the business type.
