Characteristics of being
a successful Entrepreneur
The key is to have a ”learning experience” by talking to an entrepreneur (or more than one entrepreneur). Find someone who is an entrepreneur.
|
First thing is to write
about how you’d go about finding a person to talk to.
Be narrative.
Tell a story about what you did to find an entrepreneur and how you made contact.
So you talk to somebody
about whether they did
During your discussion
with this entrepreneur you might want to ask them about the Terms associated
with being an Entrepreneur and see if they agree/disagree about some of
the terms and if they can add some info as to why those terms are important.
Write about this meeting
/ discussion.
Think of some “evidence”
that you could provide to substantiate that you learned something about
being an entrepreneur by talking to the – like a photo of the two of you
together.
Research about the business
sector they are in.
What are some of the trends
in the industry.
Success: do you think this
person is successful? Are they operating their business in a successful
way? Do you think they have the personality, experiences and skills to
be successful doing this.
6E’s – you could, if it
applies, makes comments about the entrepreneur, and their business, based
on how they deal with some, or all, of the 6
influencing environments.
You do this assignment
individually, or with a partner, BUT not in a group of 3 or 4.
This is due in class the
END of the third week in March (March 21st 2014)
